Completing the confidential report form does not constitute a report to the University and will not necessarily initiate any law enforcement, judicial or administrative action against a perpetrator.

The confidential report will only be forwarded to the Director of Campus Safety and may be shared with the Dean of Students or Title IX Coordinator. Upon request, a person may ask to be contacted by a counseling service.

All child abuse or neglect instances will be reported immediately to the Philippi Police Department.

For University action to be taken through an official report, please contact the Department of Campus Safety at (304) 709-2696 or by email at [email protected], or you may contact Student Affairs at (304) 457-6213 or at [email protected].

Anyone reporting should read the list of crimes and definitions of those crimes here.
