The College of Health, Science, Technology, & Mathematics provides outstanding educational opportunities in a variety of majors and minors within the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Exercise Science, Natural Resource Management, Nursing, and Mathematics. Each program is designed to give students the hands-on experience necessary to prosper in their career. Starting with their first class, students will work directly with their professors in both traditional and outdoor laboratory settings. Students will also notice how much the faculty care about their success and their commitment to providing the personal attention necessary for the students’ academic achievements. The combination of personal attention and experiential learning gives our students a high rate of employment or entry into graduate and professional schools. Select undergraduate students are also given the opportunity to work with faculty on research projects typically reserved for graduate students, ranging from geospatial analyses to community ecology and cancer research. Our students regularly receive research grants and present their results at professional conferences.
